Urban Crossing
Every year, more than 40,000 people needlessly lose their lives on streets in the United States and thousands more are injured. Part of the problem is that streets were traditionally designed for cars exclusively and even today, as we see the number of other road users such as pedestrians, bike, and scooter riders increase, many streets still do not fully and consistently integrate the needs of all road users.
It is unthinkable to redesign the existing street network but it can be adapted to fulfill the needs of today’s road users. Urban Crossing designs and manufactures custom 3D printed concrete barriers that can be added to the existing built environment in order to protect the lives of all road users.
